We had the good fortune of living in Africa for 7 years. We shared in the struggles and aspirations of people who strived to provide for their families and build a better future. This moving experience inspired us to create MIA.
Our goal is simple; make amazing chocolate in Africa to create a positive connection between you and producer communities.
MIA is more than just our name; it’s our ethos. Because we believe in making delicious and unique food fairly, every chocolate bar we produce is Made in Africa, source of 70% of the world’s cocoa beans. The MIA ethos is different from 99% of chocolate bars that are made in wealthy nations far from the cocoa source. We champion the Made-in-Africa business model because it creates delicious choclate that provides sustainable jobs and more prosperity for producer communities.

Made In Africa (MIA) BAOBAB & SALTED NIBS – 65% DARK CHOCOLATE –
Rich 65% dark chocolate is infused with the superfood zing of African baobab powder and topped with a sprinkling of salted cocoa nibs to create a savoury crunch that gives way to natural notes of red fruit.

INGREDIENTS: Cocoa mass, cane sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa nibs 4%, baobab powder 2%, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), sea salt <1%. Minimum cocoa solids: 65%. May contain traces of tree nuts and milk.
